Denim needles are for use with denim fabric of course, but they are also great for use with other densely woven fabrics such as twill, canvas, and heavy linens. These needles have a reinforced blade with a rounded tip and tapered end to  reduce breakage and skipped stitches. When using denim needles it is recommended that you use 100% polyester, heavier topstitching thread, or cotton wrapped polyester for great results.
